We got our grades for this semester. I have a 3.0 for the semester GPA and a 3.8 for the cumulative GPA. Rob got straight A’s! He’s so smart!
He’s so excited about having all A’s. He’s never had all A’s in college.
I have more baby fishies. Lots of ones from the red platy and a bunch from one of the guppies. I’m not sure which guppy because they all look like they did before the babies showed up. I’ll see if I can get some pictures.
The party last night was fun. We told everyone it started at 6. Everyone showed up at around 8. We played video games and talked a lot. Crystel brought her boyfriend Parke and friend Misha. There was also O-Roy and Eric. I made a lot of cookies and brownies. We ordered pizza around 11 pm. I feel asleep around 1 am. People left around 3 am.
Me and Rob drove Amber to the train station only to find out her train was about 3 hours late. So she called her mom and her mom offered to pay us to drive her home. After a little thought I decided it was worth it; a little money and to get to see mom. So, after about 2 hours of driving dicussing Full Metal Alchemist, we arrived home. We stopped at my place for a little bit to recoup from driving and then we took Amber home. Her mom was happy to see her. And her cat, Tom, was happy to see everyboy. He’s such a sweet cat.
Mom looks good. She looks shaken and tired, but good. I hope she gets tons better in the coming weeks!
Me Rob and Kelse went shopping at the mall for Christmas presents. We got something for grandpa and mom. We looked for grama Betty but couldn’t find what we wanted. And I had no idea what to get grama Hazel or Dad. Dad’s usually easy to shop for, it just hits me when I see it. Me and Rob stayed the night in my grandmother’s spare bedroom. I’ve never had luck sleeping in that bed. Neither did Rob it seems. Got up around 7 and had breakfast with the family. Left around 8. It was a nice little visit. I know Rob didn’t exactly want to spend the night, but he got some steak and shopping out of it. He also liked seeing Coal and Kelse again. He thinks Kelse is funny, as in a good sense of humor. I’m glad Kelse and Coal both like him.
I had a dream last night that I was hugging mom real tight and telling her I love her.

A while ago I watched some TV show on a man who moved into the wild and built himself a log cabin. It was so awesome to see him working with non-modern tools, creating this beautiful cabin. Long before that I wished that I could live in the wilderness like Henry Thoreau. Living off the land, but with a town close by for necessities of modern living. Then today there’s a home byuers show on HGTV where this woman wants to buy a cabin. Oh! They’re so beautiful!
I’d have a nice cabin with a generator, clean spring water and maybe a lake. I’d have chickens and goats. Someday maybe I’ll get there.
Yay! I’ve finished another semester. This one wasn’t as productive or enjoyable as the other’s have been. Two of the classes were useless and the teachers were not very good. Hopefully I’ll have ok grades.
I’m so glad all that stress is gone. Now I don’t have to worry about anything much except cleaning the apartment and mom’s health. But that is stress I can deal with. I’m glad mom’s feeling better now.
I’ve been having fun with my fish tanks the past few days. The one in my room is having issues with algae. If it doesn’t go away in a day or two I might have to buy an algae eating fish. The tank in the living room is doing really well. The plants are doing really well. I also got a bunch of fancy guppies. Rob liked the Tequila Sunrise ones, so I got 3 of those and some females.
I’m looking forward to Christmas!
