Damn

Loooong time no post. I feel like I’ve neglected my website for a while. I’ve just been busy with other things.

I’m on sort of a origami kick right now. Pretty hearts with petals, stawberries and even a penguin.

There is this super cute men’s haori on eBay right now. I showed it to Rob and he liked it, but didn’t really want it. It’s got rolly-polly Akita or Shiba Inu puppies on it. They look like Naz and Dottie.

I’m a little tight on money at the moment. That’s because at the beginning of the summer, when I got my job I told myself that I’m going to pay rent and buy two things: a gothic lolita dress and a yukata. I bought both. The yukata is here and the gothic lolita dress is on it’s way from the UK. I’ll be able to pay rent this month no problem, but I had to ask mom for a little loan because I had NO money in my account. It gets like this at the end of summer, funds run really low.

I’m going thru my stuff, pulling out junk I don’t really want to sell at the garage sale or online. I’ve got about 2 boxes of misc. stuff and 1 box of anime stuff. I’ve sold a few things online but I wish I could sell more. I guess people just aren’t interested in my junk. Me and Rob want to have an anime garage sale but don’t know if we can on Pegasus Landing property.

Oh, and another 2 drug busts at Pegasus Landing. I’m going to call the manager tomorrow and tell him he’s got to clean this shit hole up. And I will use offensive language like that because it’s just getting worse here.

Oh, and check out the fledgling Eelpout Art Website. This is just work I’ve done today. Any suggestions ya’ll have? I need some text for the “About” page. I’m never good at that blurb type stuff.

MetroCon

MetroCon was pretty fun. So much great stuff happened! I did my kimono panels and dressing and got good feedback for them. We sold a lot of stuff at the artist’s table - $600! And Rob’s mom and my mom bought me a waist cincher obi. It’s so beautiful! I’ll get Rob to take some pictures of me in it and kimono later. I bought some stuff. Some of it I can’t find at the moment - I think I left a box of jewlery at home.

Right now Kelse is staying with us. I think she’s like kinda bored. Rob sleeps in late and I’m really tired when I get home from work. So, we’re really not that exciting. We might go see the Omen later.

I got a nice check from work from last week. $400 yay! That means I don’t really have to worry about rent for this month. Rob says save it and he’s right. But eBay is sooooo tempting.

Work is going a bit odd. They’re replacing a lot of the management staff, and some workers who aren’t working out. I’m fine because I’m young and at a cheap pay rate. But there’s a lot of intrique and secret conversations. I call this Jo Ann the store of secret conversations; there’s always people talking in a subversive way down the aisles.
