Well, another day spent doing nothing. I sort of sat around, fiddled on my computer and cleaned very little. I’m pretty much in Photoshop withdrawl. Before I got the new laptop I lazed around, watching TV, ignoring my beloved Photoshop. And now that it’s gone, I have all these ideas! I want to do a couple of photo manips for my Portfolio, pixel kimonos and animals, pictures for some of my content pages, etc etc. Since I can’t do anything, I feel even less productive. Not to mention I could be cleaning and I’m not. Bleh.
Don’t know what else to write since today was rather uneventfull.
I just got home to Orlando today. Starting to unpack my stuff and find places for it all. Lots of cookies and fudge. And I got a vase, glass juice set and ceramic tea set that I have to find places in my china cabinet for. My biggest gift was the laptop and I am quite happy with it. Speaking of my laptop, I’m still working on it. Don’t have Photoshop, so I’m sad. Going to work on it in the next few days, cleaning up files and installing more stuff.
I need to go out and get food. I’ve just got canned stuff and dry goods. I need some fresh veggies and fruits! Not to mention pasta, meat and cheese.

I got my new computer! It’s awesome! Had a slight panic moment when I read the memory as MB, not GB. I’ve always had issues converting bytes, just like converting time. Why can’t it all be based on increments of 100? Anyway… I’m getting used to the keyboard. It’s wider and nice than my old laptop, but the keys are slightly different. I also have to install a lot of the programs I need. I was able to install Illustrator, but not Photoshop. I don’t know why. I think I needed to have a previous install of it, or something. I also don’t like the new AIM. It won’t let me turn off IM logging and delete that damned folder. Maybe I’ll just set it to somewhere else. And it won’t let me use the built-in webcam, which really pisses me off. I also need to decide what I’m going to do with some of the crap that came with the laptop. Like Quicken. What do I need that for? It also came with AOL, Vonage, a bunch of stupid games and a trial of Office. I hope that the trial Office doesn’t affect my actual legal copy of Office my dad gave me. :angry: Oh, and Kelse absolutely loves my old laptop. It has so many fonts, Photoshop accessories, etc. that she was estatic.
And it’s the holiday! Tons of last minute shopping. Primarily because I have no money and the parents will buy the gifts. They way I see it, it’s thier money anyway. Maybe I’ll add it to the list of debts I owe to them. I got Kelse some nice gifts, helped Mom choose some gifts for Rob, got some gifts for Mom and Dad and the grandparents. I hope they like them. I helped my family pick out gifts for me, so I know most of what I’m getting. Lol I went and made cookies with Grama and Kelse yesterday. Today I helped Grama make some fudge. Fudge is really weird to make. Oh, and it’s still about 80 degrees here. But it’s going to start raining tomorrow/tonight and a cold front is comming through. So it may actually be under 70 degrees on Christmas! Isn’t that great?! Last year it was hot and humid, this year it’ll be cool and wet.
