Frustration

Haven’t updated in a while, exams were this week. Studied like crazy and I’m hoping that they’ll be ok. One teacher was completely idiotic. She scheduled the exam for Tues, while another exam was taking place in the room. So I wasted like 2 hours on the bus and waiting outside the classroom. Then she re-scheduled to Thurs, when we were schedule by the UCF exam schedule to take the exam. And she was 15 minutes late. Cause she had to buy donuts as an apology for Tues. Which I didn’t eat any of because they were being passed around and God knows how sick people get around exam time. So, that was just frustrating. And on Wed I took my Astronomy exam which seemed to go well. But I forgot my book in the room when I left. So I had to run back there and get it. Luckily no one had stolen it. Turning in my final project for Inter Enter was no problem, just burned the CD and handed it to the teacher. She likes me, and I like her. She’s one of the very few teachers for whom I’ll actually participate in class. Still have to finish Rob’s website and write an essay for Project 2.

Oh, and today I went to see the adviser for Digital Media about me graduating and my schedule for next semester. So, her hours start at 9, so I figure that she’ll show up at 9:30 since DM people are chronically late. Rob comes with me to help me and we arrive at around 9:10. We get to the room and there’s already 12 people there. Well screw that! I have to be at work in an hour and she’ll never get to me! So I guess I’ll have to get there at 8 fucking AM so that I can wait in line to get advising from her. Oh, and I don’t like her very much either. But I picked up my intent to graduate form and Rob’s going to help me fill it out, so yay! Digital Media can @&*!#*$( my @(! with a !(*&@ in the *(!&#.

In other news, went to the dentist. After 3 years of not seeing the dentist, no cavities! I was so happy! But in May I’ve got to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Not so happy. Hopefully it should go well and I won’t be in too much pain afterwards. I got my hair cut, it’s short and cute. I got a new camera for my birthday! I got it to carry around in my purse, but I can’t bring myself to do that quite yet. It’s my precious. I also haven’t had much time to fool around with it either, been to busy with school. It’s the Olympus 760. w00t. I was looking at cameras in a cheaper range than my dad was willing to pay, so I got a much better camera than I expected. It’s so pretty! Work is going ok. Going to be working 30 hours a week during the summer. Hopefully I don’t go any madder than I am already. Guess that’s all for now.

Interesting Night

So, last night there was this HUGE fight in the hallway outside our apartment. This couple was literally screaming at each other. I called the Phase Clubhouse with a complaint, because I like my sleep and they were disturbing it. A few minutes later the RAs show up and ask where I think it was coming from. I say down the hall and went back to my room to try and sleep. About 10 minutes later, someone’s baning on the door and ringing the doorbell. I look through the peep hole and don’t see anyone. “Oh crap, it’s the crazy boyfriend” runs though my head, and I ask “Who is it?” It’s the UCF Police. He’s really nice and asks me a few questions and asks if I want to give a statement. I say sure, he comes in and I write down my statement. It’s like 1:30 AM. Then he sees Amber’s Kahlua and Bailey’s and starts talking about when he was a bartender and made this milkshake thing. I just want to go back to sleep. So, he leaves and I put the stop bar on the door and try to go to sleep. It was an interesting night.

Boring Monday

So… Not much going on. Had a fun weekend. Went to a party on Sat, it was fun. Did some shopping with Rob yesterday. We went to the huge Asian market on 50. I got some little things for making bento lunches. If I’m going to be working here over summer, I’m going to have to start making myself lunches. I got a round onigiri mold, some food picks, roasted sesame seeds and a tea steeper for the tea Rob got in New Mexico. He also got a GITS figure that was pretty sweet. There was also a photo studio there that was hiring. Rob went in and got an application. He’s heading over there right now to interview. We can hope right?

So, Rob got back on Sat! Yay! I was so happy to see him. He showed me the gifts he and his mom got me. I got a super cute little pink kimono purse, black tabi, a memo book, some cute kimono patterned napkins, a cute kitty chopstick rest, and a little plate that matches my cute pink kitty bowls. Thank you! :heart: All of them were awesome. He also showed me the tea he got; sakura tea and some jasmine tea. Both smelled delicious! We got the tea steeper, so hopefully we can try it sometime this week.
