My French teacher keeps repeating to us “Remember, French is Fun!” whenever the entire class looks dumbfounded by something she just explained. After class I went to talk to her about my grades and to see what I’d have to do on the final to pass the class. She calculated everything and said I wouldn’t even have to take the final to pass the class. That’s kinda nice to hear. She said usually what we got on the midterm is a indication of what we’ll get on the final. I got a 90% on the midterm, so I’m pretty happy.
Computer as Medium in a few hours. I hope this is the last time this class meets. I hope there’s no final exam, just a final project. Oh, and the final project is a portfolio. Which I’ve had for like two years now. Not really looking forward to this class. The only thing I can hope for is that the teacher evaluations are today. 
I really want to wear gothic lolita this friday. It’s the last day of the semester, and I’ve wanted to wear it forever. It’s also “Black and Gold Friday!” at UCF, so I can sort of be in the theme… Maybe? It would be completely black. Some kurololita going on. 
So, I survived Thanksgiving with the family! It was pretty nice. We had a nice dinner with the parents, my sister, grama, sister’s boyfriend, Rob and me. I helped mom cook a little but she had most of it under control, so I just did minor things like stirring this, measuring that and opening the oven for the turkey. And grama cooked two delicious pies: chocolate and apple. I had both! Most of the weekend was spent just hanging out and watching movies.
I almost didn’t survive shopping though. Rob and I went to Best Buy at 4 AM to get in line for shopping. After about 30 minutes I started to feel really sick. I think it was a combination of waking up early, eating warm turkey, and standing out in the cold. I started to feel like I was going to throw up and Rob had to drive me to the CVS nearby. Luckily I didn’t get sick, and after a little white out of the cold I started to feel better. So, we went shopping at JCPenny’s since it was open at 5am. We did some shopping, and at around 7 Mom and my sister met up with us. We then did more shopping. Around 8 it felt like time to go home, so Rob, sister and I started to go home. I made them stop at Micheals ’cause I had a ton of coupons and I wanted to get some things. So, after 15 minutes of shopping I had my stuff and got in line to check out. AN HOUR LATER I was able to check out. Turns out that they had to enter every discount and every coupon by hand. It really sucked, especially since I wasn’t feeling too good. Rob and my sister wandered around the shopping center, so they weren’t too bored. After that we went home and I took a nap. Rob went back to Best Buy later that day. I felt a little bad that I forced us to leave earlier that morning.
All in all it was a good weekend. I got a few things for use right now and a few things for gifts. For use right now I got a little purse, a light jacket, a 2Gig USB thumb drive and some anime DVDs.
I put in my two weeks notice at work. I am quitting the 7th of December, the same day as my last exam.
Now this week will be spent frantically studying for my French exam! And taking vitamin C so hopefully I don’t get sick.
So, we had Friendsgiving last night and everyone liked the ham I made. w00t! Rob helped me with it. Thanksgiving at home tomorrow! Wee! Then SHOPPING. I prolly won’t be updating for the next few days.
