My new dress
I took some pictures today of me in my new dress. I was trying to decide which would be the best way to wear the dress: with or without a shirt. I posted to the egl forums and the vote was practically unanimous to wear my Metamorphose high collar blouse with it. I almost prefer to wear the gauzy peter pan collared shirt that my grandmother bought me a while ago. I’m going to be wearing it to JACON next weekend. Rob is going to be doing a lot of photography again at the convention. Now that he does photography I rarely get to see him at conventions. 
JACON is at a new hotel this year; let’s see if it sucks less than previous years.
Anyway, tell me what outfit you like the best!
Oh, I also tried something with my hair - straightening my bangs. How does it look? I’m probably going to wear my hair up anyway, but it took me forever to get them straight. I am so clueless about girly things like hair dressing or walking in heels. And yet I dress like this sometimes! I guess it’s a way to get really girly, but only once or twice a month.

Lovely dress and nice hair! I wish mine wasn’t so flat whenever I have it long.
It’s nice getting girly every now and then. I love wearing feminine pieces like floral dresses and bohemian skirts on occasion. It’s a twist from being very low maintenance day in and day out.
