My parents got my diploma in the mail! I called them and they opened it while I was on the phone. They said it looked like a real diploma, so I guess it’s safe to say that I’ve officially graduated! I have a feeling though that I’ll be having nightmares where they take it away and tell me I have to spend another 4 years in Digital Media. That is certainly a scary nightmare. I have to figure out what to do with it though. Should I frame it and put it up on my wall or put it away in a safety deposit box? I’m not sure what my parents did with theirs…. I think they framed them and put them up in the hallway, but I can’t quite remember.
Yesterday Rob and I did a photoshoot at Leu Gardens. When we went in to buy tickets, the lady said “Oh, there’s no photography in the gardens.” And we were like “Whhaaa?” But apparently she meant no professional paid photography. You’d have to buy a $250 membership for that. She let us go, because we said that we were a couple, and it wasn’t a paid session. But I guess we won’t be doing photoshoots there. It’s really too bad, it’s a really nice park. Unless Rob says every girl he goes there with is his girlfriend. 
Grades were posted for the end of the semester. I got an A- in Computer as Medium and Women in Film and I got a B in French! Yay! I’m so happy to be done with college and get my degree! Last night was the graduation dinner with my friends. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and it was really yummy. Sasha was really nice and gave me two tickets to Universal and Islands of Adventure. After eating we went to the Hello Kitty store in that mall and I got some cute new stuff.
Recently I’ve done some cooking. I made some quiche with ham and swiss cheese and the guys loved it! I may make it again sometime, I really like quiche. I also made some Bailey’s Irish Cream Chocolate Chip cookies and the guys liked those too. Last night Rob and I made crab cakes, and they turned out ok, not great.
Anyway, today I’ve been rather miserable with a sinus cold. One of our friends was having a holiday party tonight and I didn’t go because I’m feeling really crappy. It prolly shows in this post, how much I am out of it.
So I’m going to go watch TV and hope my nose drains.
This is the last week of college and work for me. I have my last final and my last day at work on Friday this week. It’s both scary and exciting. Ok maybe it’s a lot frightening. I have to get some sort of job by March, because that’s when I’ll be taking over expenses that my parents are currently paying. I’ve saved up a lot of money from my current job but I can just see my bank account being drained. I’ve put my resume on Monster and CareerBuilder. I’ll start scouring those sites and CraigsList at the beginning of the new year. I may even apply at retail stores, just so that I have a job. I’m really scared about not getting a job - the economy is THE SUCK right now. Unemployment is going to go up. I don’t want to be without money or a job. 
On the other side though, I’ve got a BA! I can move on with my life and maybe start to actually do things. I don’t have anymore classes, class projects or teachers. I’m excited to go out and try a few new jobs. 
One of the main reasons for taking December to recuperate from school is that it’s going to be a damn busy month. Rob and I are going to be driving all over the state - to his house in West Palm Beach and mine in St. Pete for the holiday. Then back to Orlando for New Years. I hope everything goes well. 
Oh, and I’ve been crafting like a madwoman. I’ve made quite a few gothic lolita phone charms. They’ve turned out pretty damn cute! There’s ribbon, lace, crystal, cute charms, pretty beads and whatever else I can think to put on there. I’ve got some strawberry charms on their way from China, so soon there will be cute red strawberry phone charms! I’ve also made some really cute hair bows. Everything’s so damn cute! :berry: :heart: :crown:
