Introducing Adèle

Here is my new BJD, Adèle. I made the little outfit she’s wearing: a bonnet, top and bloomers. In these pictures she’s wearing a pink wig and blue eyes. She also has another pink wig, a blonde and green eyes. Right now her face is default, I’m going to get it repainted sometime soon. I’ve gotten her a cute little kimono and I can’t wait for that to come! I also bought some patterns so that I can make some cute dresses and clothes for her. I think she’s super cute!

I’m back! Sort of

Well, the last two weeks were crunch time for MetroCon, and I was also trying to get my room situated after moving. This past weekend was Metro, and we had a good time. I think I’m getting too old for conventions. There’s just nothing I really want to buy from the dealer’s room and the kiddies really get on my nerves. Anyway, here’s a list of the events from the past week or so:

• I’ve taught Gizy to sit. I’ve also taught him to not grab food out of your hand when you give him a treat. Though I don’t think he’s learned anything other than treat = sit.
• I got a ball joined doll at MetroCon! I’m so excited! I’ve wanted one forever, and this weekend I got one from LadySaiyuki. I have yet to name her, but I’ll update soon with images and a name.
• I’m currently sick, I caught something at Metro. I think it’s a sinus infection.
• I miss Rob.
• My grandma is having eye issues and may have to have surgery.
• I need to start searching for a job when I stop dripping snot out my nose.

And now I go to take a nap and recover from this cold.

All moved home

Well, now I’m completely moved back to St. Pete. I’ve almost got my room situated to suit me, but there are still a few boxes I have to go through and move around. I’ve moved furniture around, cleaned and cleaned some more. My cat is incredibly happy that I’m back home and whenever I sit down he’s right there trying to get into my lap. He also really likes this one pillow I have and has claimed it as his own.

My parents already have a list of stuff they want me to do while I’m here. Including: set up the new printer, help my sister set up her computer before she goes to college, get mulch with my truck for the backyard and sew a bunch of stuff for MetroCon.

I’m not sure when I’ll be updating the website for a little while, because since I’ve come home it’s been non-stop working and helping the parents with stuff. :heart: Luckily almost all of the stress I’ve been feeling for the past two months has gone away. I don’t have to worry about housing or food. Now I just have to worry about finding a job and I’ve got some positive prospects on the horizon for that.
